CARP Coaching

Why Coaching?

Justin Okamoto, one of CARP’s Coaches, shares a bit about the value and importance of coaching.

Coaching gives you the opportunity to have a powerful support system so that you can develop your original self.

Benefits of Coaching:

  • Getting clear on what you want in your life, your passions, your mission, and your next steps
  • Freedom from the barriers that have stopped you in the past from moving forward
  • A structure of accountability so that you have power in accomplishing your goals
  • Validation and acknowledgment; a coach is there to see your greatness and bring out the best in you

Other benefits include leaving each conversation with more power, peace of mind, sense of accomplishment, confidence, courage, and the ability to take bold action.

One of the benefits that you will get with CARP’s coaching (that you won’t get anywhere else) an emphasis on Principles Worth Living. In doing so, you will experience the transformative power of the Principle in your everyday life and see miracles happen.

Signs you may benefit from a Coach:

  • You struggle with the same issues over and over
  • You have unresolved conflict in your relationships
  • You feel stuck or unclear
  • You want to create better balance in your life
  • You want to make a change but don’t know how

What Coaching is not:

Coaching is not about about giving advice, or a pep talk (you could call that mentoring). It’s not therapy (which focuses on resolving issues from the past).

Coaching is a conversation in which you get an opportunity to create your future. You get to explore and discover for yourself what is going to make a real difference in your life. Through asking the right questions, coaches empower you to impact the areas that are most important to you.

Meet the Coaches

Justin Okamoto

Justin-photo-portraitI’ve been working in youth education for the past four years, directing summer camps as well as being the Assistant Pastor for the Belvedere Family Church in NY. I have two years now of coaching experience and three years of training as a coach. I coach because I love seeing people light up when they discover something. It's like seeing people discover that they are children of God and they always have been, and when they get that anything is possible. I have also been blessed to my wife Kazuka for three years now.
