On October 19, CARP Bay Area held its second Unification Principle (UP) Seminar of the semester at the Principled Academy in San Leandro. It was co-hosted with the local branch of Family Federation for a Heavenly USA. This month, we had 18 participants.
The purpose of this seminar was to explore deeper into Unification Principles and how to recognize and integrate them into our lifestyle. We had our usual schedule with presentations, discussions, and sports.
To accommodate the people who have come to UP before, for the first time, we introduced two levels—introductory and advanced. In addition, the introductory level was run entirely by CARP student leaders, Erika Gordon, Hiroaki Kamata, and Karen Ishiguro. Each prepared a 40 minute presentation.
The advanced level was led by CARP mentor, Markus von Euw, who presented on the content of overcoming human contradiction and leading a life of quality. He delved into Biblical examples as well as how we can apply that into our lives on a daily basis.
