Executive Updates from the Board of the Directors

Dear CARP family,

Since 2017, we’ve had the great fortune to have Mrs. Teresa Rischl serve as the National CARP President. Under her leadership, CARP has grown into a stronger, more effective organization that elevates its students and takes care of its stakeholders. We’ve seen tremendous growth in the number of chapters and students, in the quality of leadership of our students, and of general interest and support under Teresa’s tenure. The CARP that stands today is much better positioned to tackle big issues and become a driving force of culture, and that is in no small part due to her leadership.

Therefore, it is with both tremendous gratitude and a bit of sadness that we announce Mrs. Teresa Rischl has resigned as the National CARP President in order to take another position, effective as of February 7, 2020. However, because of the great investment she has poured into CARP, the Board and I are confident in the future of CARP and wish her every success in her future endeavors.

Currently, the Board is conducting a responsible and thorough search process to hire a new president that honors Teresa’s legacy and will bring CARP to new horizons. Central to this search is consultation with key stakeholders, most especially Family Federation leadership.

While we conduct this process, Mrs. Kaeleigh Moffitt has graciously agreed to serve as Interim Staff Manager. With Mrs. Moffitt’s support, the National staff is working hard to ensure a smooth transition during our search.
