Fellowship on the Shenandoah Mountains

Contributed by Hiro Kamata

On Oct 22nd, CARP DMV organized an overnight hiking trip in the beautiful Shenandoah mountains. The intention behind this trip was to connect with CARP students and the local high school youth in nature, God’s creation. It was also the peak of the fall foliage so we had to go. The first day we were blessed with really good weather and spent most of the morning and afternoon hiking to the top to see beautiful scenery. Once we came down, we camped nearby and had a campfire where we made food and had fellowship. To end the night, we sang a few songs. A total of 13 participants joined us.
