Boston Connects to a Higher Purpose

Contributed by Samuel Miranda

CARP Boston successfully held their very first Higher Purpose Talk on September 23rd, 2022 at the Boston Family Church. Sixteen people attended including five new participants. The event began with fellowship, tasty pizza, and mochi ice cream! Participants played a fun (but challenging) game of fishbowl charades to get to know one another. The main talk was given by CARP Boston President Luc Jean who spoke about how to change from a mundane lifestyle to living a life with higher purpose. He emphasized three points: 1) pause and take a step back, 2) assess our situation, and 3) take responsibility in living with a higher purpose.

The program wrapped up with participants sharing their thoughts about the message and how it related to their own life.

Overall, the event was a success and the core staff are very proud of holding their first event open to the general public!

Stay tuned to the launch of our first Divine Principle Seminar as well as our 2nd Higher Purpose talk later in October!
