Service on "Creek to Bay" Day

In honor of the 27th anniversary of Oakland’s Creek to Bay Day, CARP members and community members from the Bay Area Family Church participated in a coastal cleanup service project hosted by the East Bay Regional Park District.

Kazuya Morita, CARP mentor, gave a short guidance on the value of service, and the crew worked hard to pick up trash on the Hayward Regional Shoreline’s trails and beach area. Over 30 participants, including 11 CARP members, joined in on the service while enjoying the coast and beautifying the pathways.
