On December 26th-28th, Midwest CARP hosted an end-of-semester Divine Principle retreat with CARP chapters from Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. We had a total of 28 participants, including staff members. It was hosted at the K.O.H.O.E. campgrounds in Michigan through the support of the Jesper family. Among the participants, there were five new CARP members who were recently outreached on campus.
CARP Las Vegas Culminates the Year with a 5-Day Retreat
Our 5-day Divine Principle retreat was held from December 17th to December 22nd. Once a semester, we hold this retreat for participants to learn the Divine Principle through presentations, group discussions, and participating in intentional activities. We had a total of nine participants attend. Presentations were based on the impact of Rev. and Mrs. Moon’s life.
CARP DMV: Manifesting Our Ideal Selves
From December 18th to the 21st, CARP DMV held a 4-day Divine Principle retreat at an Airbnb in Bumpass, Virginia. The intention for this retreat was for participants to build a deeper relationship with God, see the value of CARP and the Divine Principle, and deepen the relationship we have with them. This retreat was unique and different because a few participants helped plan and shared responsibilities!
CARP LA: Reaching a Turning Point
On December 19th-21st, 2022, CARP Los Angeles hosted their annual Turning Point Workshop in Monterey Park, California. The overall purpose for the retreat was to help each participant deepen their understanding of God’s Heart and America’s mission based on the perspective of God’s providence.
CARP Hawaii: Awakening Our True Selves
The CARP leaders finished the year strong with their semesterly retreat called Awaken, under the theme, “Find My True Self.” The retreat is a place where participants come to learn more about the Divine Principle to learn and grow in their relationship with God. The retreat spanned over three days and the content was given by the CARP leaders and a couple of young adult volunteers.
CARP Bay Area Makes A Fresh Start
From October 28th - 30th, CARP Bay Area held its annual fall weekend retreat at the Heavenly Hills campground in Twain Harte, CA. The theme for this year was, "Making a Fresh Start". 21 people participated in the retreat.
CARP Boston Launches "Principles to Live By"
“Principles to Live By” began as a six-week virtual seminar during 2020, when a group of pastors and young people wished to present the first chapter of the Divine Principle through presentations and discussion groups. Pastors Catherine Ono, Heather Thalheimer, Joe Young, Sunhyun Miller and his dad Professor Wayne Miller, and CARP Boston President Luc Jean all wished to present the Divine Principle through practical, daily applications.
CARP Bay Area Shares Unification Principles
This September CARP Bay Area hosted its first Unification Principles (UP) seminar of the semester! The seminar kicked off on the evening of September 23rd via Zoom with participants joining from UC Berkeley, Chabot College, and young adults from the Bay Area Family Church community interested in furthering their education in the Unification Principles.

On May 21st to the 28th, we held our 7-day CARP retreat with the theme, “Rising Strong: Journey to Our True Self.” The idea was for us to discover our uniqueness through studying the Divine Principle and applying it to our daily life. There were a total of 23 participants.

CARP Seattle held our first 1-Day Divine Principle Retreat on May 21st, 2022, at the Windermere house in Seattle, WA. The retreat consisted of icebreakers and volleyball, lunch, discussions, and three Divine Principle presentations given by Mr. Neville Lebrooy and Pastor Rosie Muyongo.
