To culminate all their semester efforts, CARP Las Vegas (University of Nevada, Las Vegas, College of Southern Nevada) held a Winter 2021 7-Day retreat from December 14th to the 21st. All who attended were previous 7-day participants so it set the tone for a cozy and familial group the whole week.
CARP Las Vegas Retreat Activates Participants
After hosting virtual events for over thirteen months, CARP Las Vegas members and participants were elated to host an in-person Summer 21-Day workshop. Some participants completed the first week with the 7-day Divine Principle workshop while others, including three brand new participants, completed and graduated from the entire 21-day workshop.

CARP Las Vegas Gathers Allies for Sexual Integrity
Student Spotlight: Mia Taguchi
I had always been very ambitious growing up. My greatest desire in life was to change the world and contribute to world peace. I never really knew how I would do it, but I knew it was something I deeply valued. Being surrounded by the CARP members in Las Vegas sparked a desire in me to come back and continue to support the work that CARP was doing.
To do so meant leaving behind my family, my community, and the college I was looking forward to attending in Maryland. I had no idea what exactly being a part of CARP would entail, but there was an undeniable gut feeling that led me to go against many of the desires of those around me to stay in Maryland. There was no doubt that I could do the work of God while I was home, but I could not deny that there was something uniquely precious about the work that was being done in Las Vegas.
CARP Las Vegas December Seven-Day Retreat
There is no denying the experience of heart that was shared between all the brothers and sisters who joined this workshop. It was clear that the future of everyone remains as closely connected to CARP as possible, a place that has become home for all.
“Unification Thought’s point of view on the Divine Principle gave me insight about my pursuit on education… things make a lot more sense to put God in it.” - Denzel
CARP Las Vegas Hosts Third Campus Talk
CARP Las Vegas hosted two Campus Talks this semester titled Sexual Integrity and the Breakdown of the Family on two campuses during the first week of November. This Campus Talk would mark the third time CARP Las Vegas hosted this event.
On Thursday, November 1st, the CARP chapter at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) held its Campus Talk. This event aimed to explore how the sexual integrity of individuals greatly shapes their own marriage and families and how that in turn affects the world at large.
Following the Campus Talk on CSN Campus, the Campus Talk Sexual Integrity and the Breakdown of the Family at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) was held on Wednesday, November 7th. This event had a similar flow to the CSN event but featured different presenters.
